Here's the end of May inventory comparison. The blue cylinder shows the amount of single family homes available in May of 2012. The red line shows the current inventory as of today, May 28, 2013. Although we are seeing a slight uptick in available inventory, those new homes are selling so quickly that the net effect is minimal. Altadena made up the most ground for the month followed by La Canada. For those of you who are buyers, consider making that first offer the very best you can. Competition continues to be fierce.
